I spend most of my time with my niece (she’s still on her vacation ^^), and baking with her is one of the best activity that we can have a good time together.
60g …………………… Unsalted butter
75g …………………… Granulated sugar
…………………………. Pinch of Salt
1/2tsp ……………….. Vanilla extract
1/2 …………………… Egg (27-30g)
100g ………………… All purpose flour
1/4tsp ………………. Baking soda
1/4 tsp ……………… Cream of tartar
………………………… Sprinkles
Preheat an oven to 180C
Line a baking sheet with baking paper or silpat.
Melt the butter by heating in the microwave for 30-50 seconds (600W).
Remove from the microwave and let it cool for 5 minutes.
Pour the sugar, salt and vanilla extract into the bowl.
Mix to combine.
Put the egg into the bowl, and whisk to combine.
Sift flour, baking soda, and cream of tartar into the bowl.
Mix with a spatula, until fully combine.
Refrigerate for 15 minutes.
Divide the dough into 9 equal pieces.
Roll each pieces into a ball.
Dip the dough into the sprinkles.
Place on the prepared baking sheet, and press lightly.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown, let it cool completely on the baking sheet.
